"Neuro-lawyer" from Yandex learned to compile selections of judicial practice based on circumstances

The Yandex team has expanded the functionality of the "Neuro-lawyer" service. A new tool for litigation and claims work, "Selection of Judicial Practice," has become available to users.

As promised by the developers, the service allows finding relevant court decisions 10 times faster than with manual search. It will be necessary to specify the circumstances in free form, and the system will select up to 20 suitable decisions with a brief description and explanation of their relevance.

The search is carried out by meaning, not just by keywords, which allows finding judicial acts even if the wording does not match. Search time is reduced from 30–90 minutes to 5–10 minutes, and the result is a convenient list of the most relevant and recent judicial acts.

"Neuro-lawyer" takes into account the judicial hierarchy, starting the search with acts of the Supreme Court and gradually descending to the level of cassation courts. This frees lawyers from the need to make many separate requests.

Recall that "Neuro-lawyer" is a Yandex AI assistant trained to answer legal questions with references to the "Garant" legal reference system across various branches of law. In addition, the service can work with user files and allows creating custom knowledge bases. Yandex launched "Neuro-lawyer" in November 2025.
