Mobile Inform Group (MIG) has announced the start of sales of the MIG A65 data collection terminal, running under the Russian mobile operating system Red OS M. The new product is designed to automate warehouse and logistics processes, work with government markings and solve problems in retail, manufacturing and in the field.
The device is protected from water and dust (IP68), withstands drops from a height of up to 1.5 meters and operates at temperatures from –20°C to +60°C. The built-in 2D scanner based on the Zebra SE4710 module reads all major 1D and 2D codes, including government markings ("Honest Sign", EGAIS, "Mercury", "Grain"). The basic reading distance is up to 1 meter, a long-range scanner with a range of up to 10 meters is optionally available.
The main technical characteristics of MIG A65 are a 6.56-inch screen with HD+ resolution (1612 x 720 pixels), a main camera (48 and 8 MP), a 32 MP front camera, SoC MediaTek Helio G99 (MT6789), 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB/256 GB of built-in flash memory, a 5800 mAh battery with support for 33 W charging, support for 4G (LTE), GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, NFC with support for receiving payments, support for Push-To-Talk.
Red OS M, developed by Red Soft, is included in the register of domestic software and supports the operation of domestic information security tools. The operating system allows you to use Android and Linux applications, as well as provides access to applications through RuStore. In mobile mode, users get a familiar interface by running Android applications without emulation. In desktop mode, the device allows you to connect a mouse, keyboard and display (using a cable or via Wireless Display), as well as use Linux applications.
