Russian developer and manufacturer of telecommunications equipment Eltex is launching mass production of the MES5320-24 switch, which is already available for pilot testing. The device is suitable for use in data centers and corporate networks of various industries, including banks, telecom operators, industry, government agencies, retail, and IT companies.
The switch provides traffic transmission at speeds up to 25 Gbps from the access level to aggregation and up to 100 Gbps from aggregation to the core. In the future, it can be used in conjunction with the developing MES2310-48DP and MES2310-12XU access switches with 25G uplink ports.
MES5320-24 supports stacking up to 8 devices, MLAG, hot-swappable power supplies, BFD for BGP and OSPF, as well as EVPN/VXLAN technologies. The ability to store up to 262,000 MAC addresses reduces the load on networks, freeing up channel bandwidth. The device has undergone comprehensive internal testing.
