Kaspersky Lab Enhances Container Protection with Artificial Intelligence

Kaspersky Lab has introduced an update to its container environment protection solution — Kaspersky Container Security (KCS). Now, users can interpret the results of container image analysis using AI. This is made possible through integration with Kaspersky Investigation and Response Assistant (KIRA), the company's LLM tool, and third-party large language models via the OpenAI API.

The functionality allows obtaining information about risks and vulnerabilities in a convenient format, which speeds up incident analysis and decision-making. Other innovations include integration with Single Sign-On, optimization of large container image processing, and the ability to configure the system to exclude re-analysis of already verified images.

As explained by Anton Rusakov-Rudenko, Senior Marketing Manager at Kaspersky Container Security, the use of container environments creates new risks, so the developers added the ability to integrate third-party AI models into KCS. This will help information security specialists make faster decisions and more deeply analyze potential threats.

Kaspersky Container Security can be purchased as a standalone product or as part of the comprehensive Kaspersky Cloud Workload Security solution.
