The company "Gazinformservice" has announced new versions of the protected DBMS "Yatoba" — Standard and Enterprise based on the PostgreSQL 18 core. They implement a mechanism for detecting SQL injections using artificial intelligence, which ensures deep cybersecurity and ease of administration.
A feature of the new version of Jatoba is SQL Firewall, which uses machine learning algorithms to analyze incoming requests and identify anomalies. This solution practically does not reduce system performance, which allows it to be used in high-load environments.
In addition, the security event format in the fault-tolerant jaDog cluster has been unified, which simplifies the operation of monitoring systems and monitoring centers (SOC). A guaranteed object deletion function has also been added, ensuring complete data destruction after deleting tables and indexes.
The DBMS web interface has received a modern ergonomic style and deep integration with jaDog clusters, which simplifies the management of performance metrics.
As the developers emphasized, they continue to support current customers — minor updates of "Yatoba" versions 4, 5 and 6 (based on PostgreSQL 14, 15, 16) with security patches and additional functions have been released.
