In the past year, RuStore users have made over 7 million transactions with an average receipt of 650 rubles. The platform provided publishers with ample opportunities for application promotion and monetization: advertising placements received over 10 billion impressions.
A notable trend has been the increasing popularity of Asian games: they account for more than half of the payments in applications from foreign publishers. Since the beginning of 2025, demand has grown by 15%. Dmitry Pankrushev, head of RuStore, said:
In three and a half years, RuStore has become a full-fledged ecosystem with 100,000 applications and games available and a comprehensive set of tools for developers. At the same time, we have built an effective presence in international markets. In the last year alone, the total revenue of Chinese publishers in RuStore has tripled.
As a reminder, RuStore was created by VK (formerly Mail.ru Group) under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Development. This application catalog became available in May 2022. In early February 2023, RuStore exited the beta testing stage. Since 2023, RuStore must be pre-installed on all Android smartphones sold in Russia. And from September 1, 2025, a law came into force according to which RuStore must be installed on all smartphones and tablets sold in Russia, including iPhone and iPad.
