The "Neuro-Lawyer" takes on part of the daily work of a lawyer and helps solve routine tasks. It is already being used on a regular basis by about 75% of the employees of the Yandex legal department. According to the press service, measurements have shown that it speeds up work with contracts by 1.5 times, and the search and analysis of information by 3 times.
The AI assistant responds like a qualified lawyer - providing detailed answers taking into account legislation, case law, and links to materials in the "Garant" system. The "Neuro-Lawyer" can work with user files - documents, PDFs, presentations, images, audio, and video.
The assistant is versed in the most demanded areas of law: labor, corporate, information, obligation, and advertising. It is based on the Alice AI LLM language model, fine-tuned by lawyers specifically for the tasks of Russian users.
The AI assistant was tested in pilot mode by about 50 Yandex partner companies. Currently, the "Neuro-Lawyer" is capable of performing up to 40% of a lawyer's work tasks. Since August 2025, when testing started at Yandex, it has issued more than 10,000 responses - 86% of them received a good rating from lawyers.
Each user has free access to 20 requests to the "Neuro-Lawyer" per month. The limit can be increased by purchasing a subscription in theYandex Cloud marketplace. Organizations have the option to deploy the "Neuro-Lawyer" on their own infrastructure - using the on-premises model.
