The hardware base of the PАК is Amur solutions: "Narval" personal computers and "Tiger" monoblocks in high-performance configurations. The solutions are available with the "KasKAD" program already deployed and tested on them. Special configurations are possible for resource-intensive engineering tasks.
Denis Gorbunov, CEO of Amur, said:
Large companies from the industrial sector and the market as a whole, which are increasingly switching to Russian solutions, need not just registered equipment, but ready-made solutions with pre-installed and tested Russian software for their tasks. This approach can significantly reduce the resources and time required to implement domestic products and update the fleet of equipment. Developers and manufacturers are responding to this request by forming PAKs for customer tasks. We saw an urgent need for engineering personnel in a ready-made solution, and together with KasKAD we developed a PAK that will simplify the process of switching from foreign software for them without losing efficiency.
According to the developers, the KasKAD solution has identical functionality, retains the interface of the foreign AutoCAD, and commands are supported without modifications. Compatibility with existing drawing and project libraries, scripts and files from AutoCAD is provided. KasKAD works without an emulator on Windows 8, 10, 11, Linux-compatible OS: Astra Linux, Red OS, Alt, Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat.
