"Katyusha" switches to boards made of Russian textolite

The reader works in conjunction with the domestic software "Smart Print", providing user authentication on printers and data protection. At the request of the customer, it can be installed both at the production stage and in the existing fleet of equipment.

In September, a corresponding entry was received in the Register of Russian Industrial Products. In addition to textolite, the module also uses other domestic components, including an antenna. Maxim Vinogradov, CEO of Katyusha, said:

The first radio-electronic module from Katyusha on domestic textolite - a new contactless card reader - was included in the RRIPP, and this is just the beginning. By 2027, we plan to transfer electronic modules in our devices to Russian textolite and increase the share of Russian electronic component base. In absolute terms, the use of this material will be about 1 million square decimeters, or 400 thousand boards per year.

As a reminder, "Katyusha" began its activities in 2019. In 2022, the software of the "Smart Print" print management system was included in the corresponding register of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, and then, in 2024, the company became the first Russian manufacturer whose system (main) boards were included in the Register of Russian Industrial Products. In the same year, the first printing devices appeared in the RRIPP.
