The technology company Platforma announced at Kazan Digital Week that it is working on the concept of a Russian data exchange - a digital platform for the exchange of commercial data. It is based on the experience of China, where state trading platforms for data grew from $12.3 billion in 2022 to a projected $72.6 billion by 2030.
In addition to data exchange, the platform will offer consulting, technical and legal support for transactions. This project should include a data quality verification system, advanced anonymization algorithms and secure information transmission channels.
Andrey Totmakov, CEO of Platforma, said:
Successful implementation of the project can provide a multiplier effect for the economy. The state will receive a tool to increase competitiveness and attract investment in high-tech industries. Business will have access to high-quality analytics at fair prices, which is especially important for SMEs, and large companies will be able to monetize the accumulated data. Citizens will receive more personalized services while maintaining privacy.
