Ippon, a manufacturer of power protection equipment, has introduced a new line of single-phase line-interactive uninterruptible power supplies — NUT. The models are designed for power from 650 to 1050 W and are designed to protect sensitive equipment in home or office scenarios.
As the company noted, the main feature of the series is compatibility with the Network UPS Tools (NUT) monitoring system, which allows you to centrally manage the UPS, including working with multiple servers simultaneously. Ippon explained:
Network UPS Tools is a software platform supported in most Linux, BSD, and other UNIX-like systems. Integration with it allows you to monitor UPS operating parameters in real time, set scenarios when the power is turned off, receive notifications about changes in voltage or charge level, and manage the correct shutdown of several servers connected to one UPS.
In addition, the devices provide the ability to quickly replace batteries. All models are equipped with 6–8 sockets with functional separation: some lines provide backup power, others provide network filtering and protection against voltage surges.
NUT series UPSs support horizontal and vertical placement, including the possibility of wall mounting. They are suitable for both desktop use and installation in racks and specialized cabinets.
