The system will start operating on April 15. The merged company Wildberries and Russ explained:
Thus, if a buyer gives a product a rating, accompanying it with a review containing only text not related to the product (for example, “long delivery” or “long queue at the pickup point”), such a rating will not be taken into account when forming the rating. At the same time, the review itself will remain visible to other buyers.
In addition, the system for accounting for supplemented reviews has been changed. Now, if a buyer leaves a review and then corrects it, changing the rating, only the final version of the rating and review will be taken into account, and the initial version is no longer included in the rating formation.
It is planned that the innovations will help make the product rating an even more reliable indicator of its quality. According to a Wildberries study, the product rating currently ranks third among the factors influencing the decision to purchase, after reviews and price – about half of respondents pay attention to it.
