Yandex is launching an updated internship program. In 2025, not only "techies" will be able to become interns — a business internship direction has appeared, which covers humanities and economic specialties. In just one year, the company plans to hire 2,800 interns — 20% more than in 2024.
The main areas of internship remain unchanged: frontend and backend development, machine learning, analytics, and mobile development. These areas account for about 80% of vacancies for interns.
Students of non-technical specialties will also be able to gain experience in various fields: finance, marketing and PR, product and project management, HR, procurement, and law. The recruitment of the first business internship participants will begin in March, and the number of such interns will increase to 500 per year.
Internships are held in Yandex offices in major cities of Russia, as well as online. They last from three to six months and allow you to combine work with study. All interns actively participate in the work of almost all Yandex services and help solve real business problems, and also receive a salary.
In 2024, 54% of interns continued their careers in the company, becoming full-time employees.
