"The inclusion of our "Rudiron" controller in the register of Russian industrial products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will allow it to be used both for our own developments and externally for assigning the status of Russian products. We are pleased with this step, because import substitution in the field of electronic industry and educational systems is one of the most pressing topics for the further progress of the IT industry," commented Roman Ershov, Director of Solution Development in the Education Segment at Aquarius.
The advantages of this controller are high performance, the ability to directly connect peripheral devices (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, radio, LCD screens, etc.). Compared to analogues, it supports DAC and industrial communication interfaces such as CAN. It also provides support for the Arduino IDE development environment, the ability to program in C++ in Visual Studio Code, and a large methodological base for educational institutions of all levels. For writing industrial-grade software, Eclips, Keil environments are available, as well as a new domestic software product from Eremex FX-Designer, which will allow you to prepare an application template using graphical tools (analogue STM23CudeIDE).
In November, Aquarius launched the "Rudiron" pilot project in the Tver region to study domestic robotics: the first constructor kits were sent to Tver schools, a university and a college.
In May 2024, within the framework of the annual APKIT conference "Teaching Information Technologies in the Russian Federation – 2024", Aquarius concluded an agreement with the Government of the Tver Region on the implementation of the project "Creating a new system of domestic educational robotics" based on the "Rudiron" constructor in educational institutions of the region.
The "Rudiron" project team of Aquarius is also actively developing cooperation with other major federal universities.
