US President Donald Trump has announced major investments in US AI infrastructure. The Stargate partnership will be created for investments, which will include companies such as OpenAI, Softbank, and Oracle. Mr. Trump noted that China, as well as other countries, are competitors to the US in the development of artificial intelligence applications, and suggested focusing on "domestic" AI development. He separately emphasized the importance of generating sufficient electricity. It was also noted that the project will create approximately 100,000 jobs in the country.
