The world's first scientist-cosmonaut becomes an ambassador for Aquarius

He worked as the crew commander in the Mars-500 ground isolation project and was awarded a NASA certificate for his personal contribution to the Bion-11 international project.

As part of the collaboration, Sergey Ryazansky is expected to interact with the company's development team and participate in the company's daily marketing activities. Aquarius is counting on an honest, open and non-standard view of a scientist-biologist on Russian developments.

“Usually, ambassadors are chosen whose values and achievements are similar to the values and achievements of brands. Sergey Ryazansky is in many ways a pioneer and researcher, similar to our company. He is a person with a wide angle of vision, like the engineers in our Development Centers. And he has exceptional courage to do what others cannot. Perhaps it is at these points of coordinates that our basic values intersect,” commented Irina Konovalova, Vice President of Marketing at Aquarius.

“Aquarius is the oldest Russian company for the production of IT equipment. Like me on my path to space, Aquarius has gone through many difficult periods and trials that have been overcome. It seems important to me to support a company that develops IT technologies in Russia and promotes the education of schoolchildren, students and young professionals,” said Sergey Ryazansky.

The first joint event of Aquarius and Sergey Ryazansky will be the session “Creativity vs. development in innovation” at the IV Congress of Young Scientists in Sirius, which will be held in Sochi on November 27-29.

Earlier, the company announced that it had become one of the two Russian brands whose logo was applied to the outer surface of the Soyuz MS-26 launch vehicle's head fairing during launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
