You can shoot a film on an iPhone and post it on the network, but technology is just a tool. When I started, we were fascinated by the opportunity to make a 360-degree panorama, but the point was still always in the content, he noted.

According to him, the idea for a film is always born in the director's head, but the process of creating a film strongly depends on the social context. First of all, the picture must be relevant to the people who will watch it. However, now viewers are often offered only a beautiful picture.

— I am not saying that there are no good films at all now. But when we made our films in the 1970s and 1980s, there was a feeling of a powerful wave that captured the viewer. There is no such thing today. Perhaps it's the new technologies? Yes, films are still of high quality, but I'm talking about something else. Those paintings of the past had an impact on people, they affected their lives, because they were supported by amazing teams who put their souls into it and created not just cinema, but art, Emir Kusturica stated.

The first international forum "Culture. Media. Digital" takes place in Moscow on November 13–14. The events will be held in five key areas, including: the economy of new media, artificial intelligence as a co-author, cinema, video games and e-sports, as well as innovative communication platforms. The site will bring together representatives of creative industries and other professionals from more than 10 countries around the world: heads of major holdings and online cinemas, producers, directors, actors, journalists and employees of technology companies.
