All spacecraft manufactured by "SPUTNIX" have successfully separated from the launch containers and are under control

Specialists from the private space company "SPUTNIX" (part of Sitronics Group) received the first data after the launch of a new batch of 24 SITRO-AIS spacecraft and four satellites created as part of the Space-π scientific and educational project, which is organized by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises.

The spacecraft created at "SPUTNIX" were placed in launch containers, from which all 28 satellites were automatically launched into orbit upon reaching an altitude of 500 and 600 km above sea level. This was announced by Vladislav Ivanenko, General Director of "SPUTNIX".

"The first stage of the flight mission was successful. All spacecraft have been separated from the containers. Currently, at the "SPUTNIX" flight control center in Moscow, our specialists are recording telemetry signals, the systems are being calibrated, and all satellites have already been taken under control. The final results will be obtained in the next 24 hours. We are looking forward to the start of full-fledged operation of the satellites and the implementation of all the tasks," said Vladislav Ivanenko.

He also noted that each successful launch confirms the high level of competence of "SPUTNIX" specialists in the field of space technologies and strengthens the company's position in the space services market.

The SITRO-AIS spacecraft manufactured by "SPUTNIX" are designed for satellite monitoring of shipping in the World Ocean. The satellites are equipped with equipment for receiving and transmitting signals from the Automatic Identification System (AIS) from sea vessels to ground stations for monitoring and ensuring the safety of navigation, including along the Northern Sea Route. After all satellites have been tested in orbit, the Russian AIS group will expand almost twofold – to 52 satellites.
