Премьер-министр Михаил Мишустин анонсировал новые льготы для отрасли микроэлектроники

Commentary by Denis Antipov, General Director of the "Dobrograd-1" special economic zone:

The benefits for the microelectronics industry announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin represent a significant step towards strengthening domestic production and innovative development. Tax relief, especially in the current economic environment, will open up additional opportunities for the development of Russian companies operating in this high-tech segment.

The extension of the preferential tax rate until 2027 and reduced insurance premium rates will allow existing players in the microelectronics market to focus on increasing investment in research and development. This is especially important for creating competitive products and technologies that can successfully compete in the global market.

The extension of benefits to electronic engineering enterprises and manufacturers of special materials adds significant impetus to the entire industry. Thanks to these measures, companies involved in the production of components and materials for microelectronics will be able to increase their investments in modernizing production facilities and improving product quality. This, in turn, will strengthen the integration of the entire supply chain and make the final product more accessible and of higher quality.

It is safe to say that the interaction between the government and business, represented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and individual companies, demonstrates positive dynamics. These initiatives will not only help maintain leading positions in the domestic market, but also allow domestic microelectronics to enter international markets with high-tech products.

Nevertheless, the issue of preferential lending to electronics manufacturers remains unresolved. This initiative could be the next logical step, allowing companies to implement innovative projects faster and reduce the financial burden. Without actively attracting credit resources, achieving a balanced and sustainable economic model will be difficult.

In general, the presented measures can be regarded as strategically important and timely. They allow us to look confidently into the future of the development of Russian microelectronics and related industries, contributing to the creation of a favorable investment climate and strengthening national economic security.
