OCS и Nerpa стали «железными» партнерами Фонда друзей балтийской нерпы

One of the largest distributors in Russia, OCS, and the manufacturer of IT equipment under the Nerpa brand have become partners of the Baltic Seal Friends Fund to support the project's efforts to save endangered animals. Under the agreement, a portion of the revenue from the sale of Nerpa equipment will be transferred to the organization. In addition, the fund received Nerpa Caspica laptops branded with the organization's logo.

IT equipment manufacturer Nerpa and OCS, the official distributor of the brand's equipment, have signed a partnership agreement with the Baltic Seal Friends Fund. The tripartite cooperation includes informational and financial support for the project. The IT companies will transfer funds to the organization from the sale of branded goods among employees, and a fixed percentage of revenue from the sale of Nerpa brand equipment. Also, specifically for the Baltic Seal Friends Fund, the manufacturer produced customized Nerpa Caspica laptops, with the organization's logo applied to the case using UV printing.

"OCS was founded in St. Petersburg 30 years ago. Most of our employees live in the northern capital. Many of us have long followed the important and complex work of saving rare animals of the Baltic region, which the fund does. We felt that OCS could not stand aside and decided to contribute to the preservation of the species," said Anna Chernyakova, Vice President of OCS.

"The IT brand Nerpa is happy to become an 'iron' partner of the Baltic Seal Friends Fund, providing laptops for the organization's employees. We hope our equipment will help in this important work," noted Natalia Goncharova, Executive Director of Nerpa. "As part of the agreement, we want to help the organization not only financially. Inserts with information about the fund will be placed in boxes with Nerpa brand equipment, which will allow more people in the country to learn about the organization's activities and the problems of endangered animals, as well as make a donation."

"We are very pleased that Nerpa equipment will now help in our work to preserve rare seals," noted the founder of the Baltic Seal Friends Fund, Elena Andrievskaya.

The fund specializes in protecting the Baltic subspecies of the ringed seal, which inhabits the northern parts of the Baltic Sea. There are no more than 200 individuals left in the Gulf of Finland, while 40 years ago there were several thousand. The organization studies this species of animals, rehabilitates seal pups, conducts informational and educational activities for the population, and much more. In 2024, thanks to the efforts of the fund, more than 30 young individuals were rescued and returned to the wild.
