Aurora OS is a Russian mobile operating system designed to build a trusted mobile infrastructure and protect sensitive information in government organizations, large and medium-sized commercial companies, and financial institutions.
The release on the domestic operating system was implemented jointly with SafeTech, a Russian developer of innovative solutions for protecting remote banking systems and electronic document management.
"Currently, the Aurora ecosystem, thanks to its integrity and technological maturity, has all the necessary applications for performing everyday work tasks. And Alfa-Bank's application for Aurora OS provides an additional opportunity for the bank's clients to use the same device for personal financial transactions in a trusted environment, without being distracted from work processes, which will certainly be positively received by users," said Vladimir Ivannitsa, Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs of Open Mobile Platform.
"The emergence of mobile banks for Aurora OS is of great importance for the development of domestic solutions and the technological sovereignty of our country. In the new Alfa-Online mobile bank, the same functionality is available to clients as to owners of smartphones with other operating systems. At the same time, they will have the opportunity to use a domestic solution in a secure mobile environment," shared Daria Verestnikova, Commercial Director of SafeTech.
Today, the Aurora operating system offers a set of services for everyday work on the Internet, including services for security, document and mail management, online conferencing, and many others.
