Following the successful commissioning last summer, PSM's own power center in the city of Tutaev has been operating at full capacity since January 2024, providing electricity to the production facility. In addition, the station will provide heat to the production areas. The construction and launch of the power center is an important event for optimizing the company's energy costs, testing and upgrading customer supplies, and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the PSM Prime plant. Thanks to the gas limit obtained for the operation of the power center, a test bench for gas-piston units (GPU) has been implemented, which allows testing the operation of all gas power plants produced by the company at full load, while simultaneously monitoring their synchronization during parallel operation. Thus, in 2023, PSM produced and conducted factory tests of 24 gas power plants.

The PSM power center is designed based on the Industrial Engines (Baudouin) engine — one of the leading brands in the field of gas generation. This strategic decision allows us to gain our own experience in operating the engine of this brand and ensures the reliability of the manufactured equipment. The heat recovery system of the power center makes it possible to use the heat generated by the engine (from the cooling system and from the exhaust gases) to heat the production areas. The power center is capable of operating in a wide temperature range (-40°С to 40°С) and operates in parallel with the grid without the need for constant monitoring.
