The event was attended by representatives of the Government of Myanmar, representatives of the Aquarius group of companies and its technology partners. In particular, the event was attended by representatives of the Astra Group, a developer of software products and operating systems. A demo zone with Aquarius equipment and solutions was organized at the forum venue, and consultations were held at the booth.
The Aquarius Day exhibition forum (November 30, Naypyidaw) was attended by the following representatives from the Government of Myanmar: Member of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister of Transport and Communications of Myanmar, General Mya Tun Oo; Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister of Defense, Admiral Tin Aung San; Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister of Planning and Finance of Myanmar, U Win Shein; Union Minister of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations of Myanmar, Dr. U Kan Zaw.
Iskander Azizov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech. At the forum, the Myanmar side outlined key priority issues in the development of digital transformation of e-government, as well as ensuring the reliability of CII operation.
As part of the event, in-depth technical sessions were held for specialized specialists from Myanmar, product samples were presented, and negotiations were held with ministries.
Throughout the visit, with the assistance of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation, systematic support was provided to the interests of the Russian company: meetings were organized between representatives of the company and representatives of local large and medium-sized businesses; meetings with representatives of the state apparatus and various departments. The Myanmar side showed great interest in IT solutions for financial organizations. Telecommunications solutions for creating an alternative to existing ones for information security purposes were also mentioned as relevant. Partnership opportunities for infrastructure modernization and in other sectors of the economy were discussed.
Intentions to create a showroom of the Aquarius group of companies in Naypyidaw, which should appear in the country in early 2024, have also been confirmed. It will feature client devices, servers, storage systems, telecommunications equipment and software alliance partner solutions of the group. Earlier, on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2023), a partnership agreement was signed between the Aquarius group of companies and a Myanmar distributor.

Preliminary meetings and consultations with representatives of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar have been held at various business events throughout this year. In August, a member of the State Administration Council of Myanmar, Deputy Prime Minister–Minister of Defense, Admiral Tin Aung San visited our exhibition stand at the military-technical forum. The result of these meetings and negotiations was Aquarius Day already on the territory of a friendly state. This is our first international experience, and I am sure it will be very productive," - commented Vladimir Stepanov, President of the Aquarius group of companies.
