The annual international exhibition Data Center & Cloud takes place not only in Russia, but also abroad. The organizer of the exhibition is ID ICS-Media. This time, Kazakh colleagues are meeting key players in the data center construction market as part of the forum in Almaty. More than 320 participants gathered together at the Rixos Almaty Hotel to discuss the situation on the Kazakhstan market. The manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies, Ippon, is participating in the Kazakhstan conference for the first time as a "Silver Partner" of the exhibition.
Data center construction is in full swing not only in Russia, but also in Kazakhstan, so it is important for the largest manufacturers to be at the forefront and provide the market with the necessary equipment to ensure the smooth operation of the largest data centers. Kazakhstan has a highly competitive market, as leading Western players are fully present here.
Alexey Lobov, Director of Development of Three-Phase UPS Ippon, spoke as part of the business part of the event with a report "Don't overpay for UPS". In his speech, Alexey emphasized the importance when choosing a UPS for large-scale facilities, because the safety of work processes and the safety of the business as a whole depend on the uninterrupted operation of the equipment. Due to possible blackouts, data centers suffer serious risks and losses.
In the Ippon product portfolio, you can find uninterruptible power supplies for various business scales. Alexey dwelled in detail on the vendor's new products: three-phase UPS Innova Unity RT 3-3 – UPS with the ability to connect to the cloud (IoT). The series includes two models that differ in output power: 10kVA and 20 kVA. The UPS housings are made of metal, which can be installed vertically using a stand or installed horizontally in a 19” rack, each module is 3U high. Total space occupied in the rack: Innova Unity RT 3-3 10 kVA – 6U, Innova Unity RT 3-3 20 kVA – 9U.
And on October 25, Ippon met for a business lunch with major Kazakh partners and media representatives. During the conversation, the vendor's representatives outlined the goals and objectives for 2024 for business development in Kazakhstan and introduced colleagues in the IT business to the manufacturer's new products.
