Серверы Aquarius в комплексе с защищенной виртуализацией zVIRT от Orion soft

Russian developer Orion soft and computer equipment manufacturer "Aquarius" have entered into a partnership agreement, under which they have developed a ready-made hardware solution with domestic virtualization. The Aquarius CF series flagship servers include the zVirt secure server virtualization platform, which covers up to 95% of the functionality of VMware vSphere and vCenter. The integrated solution is most suitable for customers who are currently working on the VMWare platform, are actively implementing the import substitution policy, and need to meet the requirements for CII. The implementation of such a product makes it possible to close a full-fledged technology stack: companies receive servers, virtualization, and storage systems at the same time. Since all components are included in the Registers of the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, this solution will allow fulfilling the requirements of regulators for import substitution, as well as ensuring the security of personal data and state information systems.

"One of the main issues that arises when implementing the import substitution policy in companies is the compatibility of domestic solutions from various vendors," explains Maxim Berezin, Business Development Director at Orion soft. "Often, solutions that are themselves an excellent replacement for previously popular foreign products, when implemented in the IT infrastructure of a particular organization, begin to conflict with other software. To avoid such situations, we, together with Aquarius, have developed a comprehensive hardware solution with a pre-installed virtualization platform. This approach is fully consistent with our strategic goal - to create an ecosystem of infrastructure products that meets all the key needs of customers in this area."

The integrated solution includes Aquarius T50 D110CF servers and the Aquarius Array FS440 data storage system. Currently, three zVirt configurations are available to customers: Small, Medium, and Large. The differences lie in the number of servers – 3, 5, and 9, respectively. A great advantage for companies that take advantage of the integrated solution will also be the availability of single technical support.

"Aquarius products have been successfully used in the largest Russian state and private companies for a long time," noted Olga Shernek, Director of the Product Directorate of Aquarius Group. "The partnership with the leader in the virtualization segment, Orion soft, will provide customers with a reliable and sought-after integrated solution, which will make their transition to domestic equipment and software more comfortable. At the same time, the compatibility of the products has been confirmed and guaranteed by joint equipment testing."
