The "Polygon" company is a technology in the field of telecommunications, modern hardware solutions and developments. We carry out the entire cycle of work, from market research, development of design documentation, software, to testing prototypes, serial production of products and supporting them throughout their life cycle.
Over the years of the company's existence, more than 50 items of complex telecommunications equipment have been developed and mass-produced. The team of developers uses modern methods of development, modeling and testing of complex telecommunications devices. The development of equipment is based on technologies using modern domestic and imported electronic components. The quality of products is controlled at all stages. Component products and materials are purchased from certified suppliers. All imported electronic components undergo a special check.
What is "Polygon", what is the "Polygon" group of companies? Our company has been on the market since 1988, and was immediately presented as a manufacturer of switches. It was a Soviet enterprise that grew into a commercial one. Now the "Polygon" group of companies is a conglomerate of companies united by one owner.
The "Polygon" group of companies is a production facility where devices are assembled. But the beginning of the entire life chain of our switches and our new equipment is a research institute, where absolutely all the equipment produced by our company is designed. In addition, we also produce cases for our devices, and software for all equipment lines. They are produced by our company AkBerSoft LLC. And the technical and implementation company "Inzer" is engaged in interaction with external partners.
All lines meet high requirements, and these requirements are quite strict, so the quality of our products is high, and we can confidently say that our products are reliable.
We have a 5-year warranty on several equipment lines. These are the "Arlan" series switches and the "Inzer" series switches.
There is a 5-year warranty on them because these lines have been on the market for a long time and have proven themselves well. We have about 10 quality control departments throughout the entire production chain, as they say, "you can't find fault with anything." Our colleagues once tried to calculate, based on the declared capabilities of the component base that we put into the "Arlan" and "Inzer" series switches, the operating time of the equipment. The figure reaches one million hours.
Our products are in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. I believe that colleagues are aware of the innovations that came into force this year regarding software for hardware and software systems, which include switches, and about government decree 18-75 on import substitution. According to decree 719, which is supervised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, it is the main one for confirming the Russian origin of products. Therefore, our equipment lines are almost entirely in the register under decree 719. Also, in addition to this, we continue to be in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, according to decree 878 of the REP. The cases for our devices are also accredited and are in the registers of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. They are also Russian. Our programmers write software for all lines of our equipment, and in confirmation of this, we are also in the register of domestic software. That is, our advantage is that we are Russian at almost all stages of design and production. It is clear that some component bases still remain foreign, but this is because, unfortunately, not all components have yet been learned to be produced in our country, and therefore we sometimes have to use foreign or Russian analogues. But always, if possible, we purchase Russian components.
We have technical support that works almost around the clock and answers any questions. It answers urgent questions within a few minutes, and a regular answer can be received within one business day. Also, on the "Inzer" series line, we have a valid transport security certificate 9.6.9, these are industrial switches. And now we are in the process of obtaining a transport security certificate 9.6.9 for the "Arlan" series switches.
We are ready to provide equipment for testing free of charge according to pre-agreed PMIs and agreed terms. The pool of our test equipment is quite wide. We are ready to take completely new test equipment directly from the finished goods warehouse for our potential customers and transfer it to the customer.
Let's move on to the main products. Our main product is a switch.
We produce switches of various levels, from access-level switches to data center switches. I will dwell on all these lines in more detail, let's see what they are, I will talk about the features, including from a commercial point of view, how they can be interesting to your clients.
Industrial switches of the "Inzer" and "Inzer M" series are the only ones with such a wide line among domestic manufacturers. Well, and related SFP modules, converters, multiplexers, media converters, power supplies, these are all components for the network infrastructure of your clients.
I'll start with our updated product. TOP series switches.
For several years in a row, we had "Attica" series switches based on other chips. They had a speed of 40 Gbps. Now we have a speed of 100 Gbps. In addition, we now have 50 "Attica" in production, ready for pre-order, and we are ready to offer them at below market prices. These switches are already used on Transneft networks, on sections of transport highways, and are implemented as part of integrated video surveillance. "Attica" of our 5960 M series is in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. In addition, the research institute is implementing a SPINE format project. This is 32 by 100. There are still ideas, I don't know if it will be possible to implement this year or not. This is 32 by 400. This will be visible a little later.
Industrial switches of the "Inzer" and "Inzer M" series. They are all in the registers of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
The software is also Russian. And the peculiarity of the "Inzer" series industrial switches is that a number of switches in this line support PTP. Last year, we modified them for the needs of the energy industry, adding redundant DC220 power supply. Now there is an active wave of import substitution for industrial switches, and we are already implementing projects together with many integrators, partners for the energy industry of the Russian Federation. Regarding the differences, "Inzer" and "Inzer M". "Inzer M" is cheaper, "Inzer" is more expensive. "Inzer M" has a more affordable component base, "Inzer" has an exclusive component base. "Inzer" has a 5-year warranty, "Inzer M" has a 1-year warranty at the moment.
Switches of the "Arlan" and "Akmanai" series.
The "Arlan" series switches have additional specific connectors for the corresponding equipment. They are also used in fire alarm systems. From this year, our "Arlan" switches will undergo changes, a more modern chip will be used in them. Its performance will be increased and its capabilities will be enhanced. Both switches, "Attica" and "Arlan", can be modified according to customer requirements, if necessary, with a trusted boot module. Now, in parallel with all activities, work is underway to obtain FSTEC certificates, which will be focused on all switches. The "Arlan" series switches have a 5-year warranty, and the "Akmanai" series switches have a 1-year warranty. The difference is about the same as in the "Inzer" and "Inzer M" series switches.
This slide shows comparison tables of foreign network equipment and "Polygon" products. Let me clarify right away, we are saying that we have an analogue. We have selected the most suitable options for replacement. Because now, due to the tightening of legislation, we are receiving many requests that customers need to replace certain equipment of foreign production with domestic equipment.
Comparison tables are also presented here. Industrial "Inzer" switches and their analogues are also presented. Here, including with Russian manufacturers, a comparison table is given.
So, our customers are large federal vertically integrated companies, including from the energy industry, from the transport industry.
And among our large projects that are well-known are the Crimean Bridge and Arctic LNG-2. By the way, I want to tell you about the Crimean Bridge. When sabotage was committed on the Crimean Bridge, and the video surveillance, which is built just on our switches, was partially disabled, the team of our production workers went to work in two shifts in order to promptly restore the damaged equipment. It was installed as soon as possible and is operating normally. If we talk about readiness for operational improvements, this is one of the most illustrative examples. And our industrial switches are also used in the Moscow Metro. Our switches operate in the difficult conditions of the Novorossiysk and Primorsky ports. Well, and from the new, from what is not presented here, our industrial products will now be used in hardware and software systems on civil aircraft. That is, we have prospects, we have somewhere to grow.
About our prospects. We do not stand still, we are constantly developing, constantly improving equipment lines, developing modern directions, including developing DMMP - a trusted scalable multi-service platform.
What is it? This is a basket, made in the format according to the PICMG 3.0 recommendation. This is the format. Here are 14-unit ones, there will also be 3-unit and 6-unit platforms in which various kinds of so-called blades or boards can be used. We are developing content in the format of 40-gigabit switch boards. But, in theory, if other boards, such as multiplexers, routers, are made in the PICMG 3.0 format, then they will also be supported by this basket. This basket has unified, so-called, brains that will control the power supply, which is reserved here, which will control the cooling, which is also already reserved here. Well, and, accordingly, it will be possible to combine all this into one large pool of working hardware.
This is what concerns promising developments. Now it will be filled with switches on our base. But, if among your clients there are companies that are engaged in, conditionally speaking, the development of boards for security systems, then such a trusted scalable multi-service platform will be just right for them. Because this trusted scalable multi-service platform is developed and implemented in accordance with the decree of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, i.e. according to decree 109. And this platform will also be included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
