Simplified Selection of Effective Banners in Yandex UrbanAds

According to Yandex, there is no longer a need to launch multiple test campaigns and wait for them to finish. You can add up to 5 variations to one campaign, and the algorithm will test them, select the most effective one, and increase its impressions.

The advertiser independently creates a campaign in the personal account of the Yandex UrbanAds partner, and then adds up to 5 banner options, configures the remaining parameters, and launches the placement. The platform will show users all the proposed banners and determine the average effectiveness of each. The most effective banners will be shown to the selected audience more often to increase clicks from them.

Testing has shown that thanks to the new algorithm, the "clickability" of campaigns can increase up to 60%. Data for each tested option can be found on a separate tab of the campaign report.

As a reminder, in the summer of 2025, Yandex scaled the advertising platform for branded city services. Now the advertising capabilities of Yandex Go, Eda and Delivery, Lavka and Market have been combined under the UrbanAds brand.
