Among the clients who have already used the service in VTB, most are citizens of Kyrgyzstan – their share in the number of self-employed non-residents is about 44%. Another third are citizens of the Republic of Belarus, about 20% are from Armenia and 5% are from Kazakhstan.
A client – a citizen of the EAEU only needs to obtain a Russian TIN and apply for a VTB card at the bank's office. After registering in the personal account, he can apply for self-employment online without visiting the Federal Tax Service and use all the tools for work.
"Self-employment allows you to legally conduct business in Russia and not be afraid of inspections, work with legal entities, look for customers on online platforms and use other advantages for the development of your business. Citizens of the EAEU have the opportunity to apply for a special tax regime, so we have made our service available to them in VTB Online. We expect that thanks to this, the number of clients of such a tax regime in VTB will increase by 25% by the end of the year," said Spartak Solonin, Head of the Corporate Digital Business Department – Senior Vice President of VTB.
In the self-employed person's personal account in VTB Online, clients can record income, issue checks and send them to their customers, as well as cancel them if necessary. The service also allows you to generate income statements online for any period of activity.
