The company "Electro Solutions", a representative of the EKF brand in Russia, has created a comprehensive solution that is based on high-precision instrumentation.
To measure the liquid level in tanks and collectors, a PRT-102 hydrostatic level sensor and an RL-1 float switch are used. The sensor is resistant to aggressive environments due to AISI 316L stainless steel and a chemically resistant neoprene cable. The cable length of the switch varies from 5 to 20 meters. It is equipped with a 16 A switch with the ability to switch the load according to a 3-wire circuit. This solution allows you to implement a double level of protection: constant monitoring in combination with discrete alarm signaling.
To maintain a given pressure and prevent water hammer, pressure transducers of the series - PRT-101 with a steel membrane, the least susceptible to "zero drift" during water hammer, and PRT-100 with a ceramic membrane for aggressive environments are used. The submersible temperature sensor RTD420 and the ultrasonic level meter Sonic-1 are used to control the temperature and condition of the medium.
At the same time, all EKF brand sensors operate in a single automated system. Signals from them are fed to a freely programmable PRO-Relay or a programmable logic controller PRO-Logic. The PRO-Drive 90 frequency converter (1.5-400 kW) controls the pumps. For additional protection, RVG-20 pressure relays are used in the solutions to protect against dry running and control make-up, as well as RVG-30 differential pressure relays, which provide automatic switching to a backup pump when the main pump is turned off.
