В России создадут промышленный компьютер на процессоре «Эльбрус 2С3»

The key task of the alliance will be the development and launch of a line of secure industrial computers based on the domestic "Elbrus 2C3" processor running the "MSVSfera" operating system from "Inferit OS".

The new industrial computers will be designed for use in automated process control systems (APCS) and critical information infrastructure (CII) facilities. To create the software and hardware complex, the developers at "Inferit OS" will create a separate distribution adapted to work on the "Elbrus 2C3" processor.

Previously, "Inferit OS" and "Edelweiss" successfully conducted compatibility testing of an industrial PC based on the "Baikal-M" processor and the "MSVSfera Server" 9 operating system. The "MSVSfera" OS is a Russian operating system based on the Linux kernel, designed for building a secure information infrastructure. The system is included in the register of domestic software, and individual editions are certified by the FSTEC of Russia.
