Yandex Eats has improved the mechanics of promoting restaurants within the budget set by the partner. The algorithm relies on the user's order history and determines whether a discount will increase the likelihood of an order in a particular restaurant, and determines its size. Yandex explained:
If the availability of a discount does not affect the user's decision to place an order, the bid can only be directed to raising the position in the search results. And in the event that the partner's bid was not enough to rise in the search results, the promotion budget can be redirected to a discount. This will help the restaurant still remain visible - such establishments have an icon on the card.
"Boost" can only provide a discount on delivery by the service's partner couriers. The new tool is connected in the "Yandex Eats Vendor" personal account in the "Promotion" section, it is available to partners who use the CPA promotion model in the service.
"Boost" will be launched on September 25, but partners can configure it in advance. Until December 1, 2025, all establishments will be able to try the option, then it will become available in a paid subscription.
