Russian IT vendor Inferit, part of the Softline group of companies, has introduced a new Inferit workstation designed for tasks involving artificial intelligence. It can be used to train AI models, conduct scientific calculations, and work with graphics.
The device allows for the installation of up to two Intel or AMD central processing units, up to 2 TB of RAM, eight NVMe SSDs, and three SFX-L power supply units with a capacity of 1200 W each.
The workstation supports up to four GPUs. It is compatible with NVIDIA 5090, RTX 6000 ADA, L40, L40S, H100, H200, RTX PRO 6000, and AMD W7800, W7900 graphics processors. The solution is initially designed for liquid cooling.
The workstation has relatively compact dimensions of 439x681x177 mm. The 4U form factor allows the device to be used in a desktop configuration and in a 19'' server rack. In addition, wide compatibility with operating systems is provided, including "MCBCфера" from Inferit, Ubuntu, Windows 10, and Windows Server.
