MWS Cloud Platform is an ecosystem of infrastructure and network services, tools for storing and processing data, as well as PaaS services (platform as a service). Currently, users have access to object storage (Object Storage) for placing data of various sizes and formats in the cloud, virtual machines and disks (Compute) for deploying computing processes, a fast content delivery service (CDN), virtual cloud networks (VPC) and a number of additional services.
By the end of the year, MWS Cloud Platform will also feature platform solutions for developers and IT departments of companies. These are services for managing Docker images and Kubernetes clusters, as well as ClickHouse, Kafka, PostgreSQL databases. In addition, a load balancer and a solution for managing encryption keys will become available in the cloud. In total, 15 services will be presented within the platform by the end of the year.
The platform is based on its own technologies for virtualizing computing power and network infrastructure. It does not depend on vendors and third-party technologies. MWS manages the entire development cycle: from equipment, communication channels and data centers to code. The platform includes a unified system for secure access management and billing, and also provides convenient management and automation interfaces: web console, API, CLI and Terraform. MWS Cloud Platform was developed taking into account the basic principle of Security-by-design, which ensures the highest level of cybersecurity. It will be deployed in two geo-distributed data centers with Tier III fault tolerance level.
