Automation of Defrosting: How EKF Technologies Improved the Fish Defrosting Process
One of the latest successful projects was implemented in Samara, where a control system for three defrosting chambers was created based on EKF equipment. The main task was to develop a solution that would automatically regulate key parameters:
· air circulation,
· fogging (to maintain humidity),
· cooling and heating.
Thanks to a comprehensive approach, it was possible not only to speed up the defrosting process, but also to preserve the quality of the fish, while reducing energy consumption.
The project was based on programmable controllers, operator panels, and EKF frequency converters, which provided precise process control:

· Provided precise control of fans, regulating their speed.
· Optimized air circulation, which allowed achieving uniform temperature distribution in the chambers.
Thanks to the automated system based on EKF equipment, the food enterprise in Samara achieved:
