The competition was held from April 1 to April 25 in an online format. It was attended by 152 teams, consisting of both students and experienced developers. Participants worked on two tracks: basic (creating an algorithm for one drone) and advanced (developing an algorithm for controlling a swarm of five drones).

The main task was to create software in Python that allows drones in the 1T MIR UAS simulator to automatically find sources of ignition, coordinate firefighting, and optimize routes. Winners were determined by the speed and accuracy of completing the task.

The second place was taken by the «iT-Ti-Ty» team from St. Petersburg, which received a prize of 150,000 rubles. The bronze medalist was the Moscow team «Амигус», awarded 150,000 rubles. The algorithm developed by the winner coped with extinguishing the fire in 3 minutes, while the solutions of the prize-winning teams showed results in 3 minutes 30 seconds and more than 5 minutes, respectively.

The award ceremony was held in the format of an offline meeting of 1T course graduates, internship participants, and the IT Union. At the same time, some participants received their awards online. According to the organizers, the hackathon provided participants with the opportunity not only to demonstrate their skills, but also to receive feedback from experts in the field of artificial intelligence, information technology, and unmanned aerial systems.

The total prize fund of the competition was 600,000 rubles. The algorithms developed at the Hackathon 1T have the potential for practical application in the work of emergency services and demonstrate a high level of professional training of participants.
