This year, more than 3,000 participants came to listen to the speeches of IT market players and see new solutions in the EXPO zone. The forum program was focused on technologies that are necessary for business. The streams highlighted both "hyped" products and approaches, as well as time-tested solutions.
At the event, IT experts shared research on technological trends and industries. Anna Chernyakova, Vice President for перспективным направлениям OCS, spoke about how business reacted to the restructuring of the IT market. In the past two years, companies have faced the departure of many popular foreign brands, as well as the emergence of new players. Despite all the challenges, the Russian IT market has demonstrated high flexibility. 37% of respondents did not experience problems with the acquisition of software, and 13% with the purchase of hardware solutions.
An interesting topic was raised in his speech by Maxim Fesenko, Vice President for Commercial Affairs of OCS. The speaker shared the changes that have taken place in the IT market in recent years. For example, Russian vendors are now striving for cooperation in order to improve existing products and release new joint solutions. At the same time, according to the results of the OCS study, almost every fourth player in the IT market (23%) considers the role of IT distributors in creating technological partnerships to be critical. Maxim Fesenko also outlined growth points for the IT market as a whole. The industry will be driven forward by accelerated digital transformation, import substitution, the increasing complexity of IT infrastructures and other factors.
This year, as in previous years, the forum became a platform for the exchange of experience and business communication of several thousand vendors, dealers, integrators, and customers of IT solutions. Participants of the event received important insights from the speakers' speeches and learned about new IT solutions on the market, including technological premieres of Russian vendors.
