The event was started by Denis Voblikov, Partner Manager in the Server Solutions and PDM Department for negotiation room booking systems. He began the story about the products that are in the UTINET portfolio. Our Head of Presales Department Pavel Lykov, Head of Developer of negotiation room booking systems Vadim Brichalov is with us. And I give the floor to Pavel, he will talk about the data storage system and the CPU server.
The event was started by Pavel Lykov, Head of Presales Department at UTINET. He began his story about data storage systems products.
We have received registry entries for our flagship system UTINET PROSTOR 6000.
Midrange data storage system. Two units, two controllers. In two units, our chassis allows you to install 24 drives. We also submitted several iterations of the storage system under one registry entry, that is, it is just a head, a head with shelves for 24 disks and with various shelves up to 96 disks, it is possible to expand. Since this is all under one registry entry, you do not need to purchase shelves using a separate procedure. At the moment, there are no similar solutions on the market, such as two units, two controllers and Active-Active. This solution allows us to protect tenders and to operate very flexibly. In the storage system, each controller has three PCI Express expansion ports, we can install both 25 and 32 FC, anything.
Another storage system, a little younger, is UTINET PROSTOR 4024, with a 4-unit chassis, two Active-Active ALUA controllers.
Optionally, it can be expanded up to 10 PCI Express ports on each controller, which also allows you to protect tenders and greatly scale any interfaces, up to 200 Gbit on cards. Chassis for 24 disks, 3.5-2.5, you can install both large-capacity disks and SD. It also allows you to expand with expansion shelves up to 108 disks. Each controller has two processors installed. We can install cache on each nod 512, which is also a very large cut-off factor.
This is what UTINET PROSTOR 6000 looks like. That is, this is a classic construction scheme.
We also have GPU servers in our portfolio, but this is no longer a registered solution.
Heavy GPU servers allow you to install up to 8 NVIDIA SXM5 modules, these are the so-called delta modules. In addition to these specific GPU servers, we have a wide OEM line, GPUs both standard two-unit and four-unit based on the platform of the same ASUS or Supermicro analogue. Everything has been tested. Our partners from China cooperate with NVIDIA. There are no problems with GPU modules. Come, come, contact us, we will work out projects. We will be happy to participate in the supply and development. If you need technical advice, we will organize you three-way meetings with engineers, with customers together with you. We will discuss everything, work out any projects.
Pavel Lykov gave the floor to Vadim Brichalov, who plans to talk about software products. I would like to talk today about virtualization. And I want to start with an explanation of what this term is for those who are not yet familiar with it.
Virtualization is when other computers, but not physical, but virtual computers, can be run on one physical computer. That is, conditionally speaking, you are running your operating system, it has different windows inside where you see other operating systems, other programs and can work in all of them. And most importantly, that these operating systems do not know anything about each other. That is, these are such virtual workspaces that work exactly the same, but at the same time are all on one physical computer.
And there is server virtualization. This is when we have a server inside the server. Why is this needed?
Firstly, it is, of course, saving resources. A company may have one corporate portal, mail, database, and all this should run on some machines. When a client has one server with other virtual servers, this is much more efficient. One server instead of three is always more profitable than buying a separate server for each system and deploying this or that resource on it. Secondly, it is ease of management, namely centralized management of all this. That is, everything is managed from one computer, and even from one program, from one window. That is, virtualization allows the administrator to immediately monitor and manage all virtual machines through one program. And, thirdly, it is an increase in productivity. If, for example, the load suddenly increases on "1C", then you can quickly add resources to the corresponding virtual machine without resorting to purchasing new equipment. That is, literally in a couple of mouse clicks, we increase the power of the virtual server with "1C", and everything starts working faster for us. And the last thing is fast scaling. If a company has some new direction, you now need to deploy another CRM system or, for example, a website, then creating a virtual server is always faster than buying a new one.
Actually, for all this we have developed our domestic software called GLOVIRT.
GLOVIRT is installed on the server. And on top of it you can install most popular operating systems with your applications. You can not only create virtual servers, you can also create data storage systems, configure networks, including private VPN networks. And all this with GLOVIRT you can manage, monitor the status of all systems. This is our domestic analogue of VMware, which we made on the basis of the no less popular Proxmox.
GLAVIRT is installed on the server as a normal operating system and then opens from any computer by IP address simply in the browser. A beautiful management interface appears in the browser , and through it you can create any number of virtual machines, networks, and so on without restrictions.
Clusters are when several servers are connected to each other by wires and work as one.
This is necessary for fault tolerance. That is, if one of the servers fails or some board in it burns out, or something else, then the rest of the servers pick up the entire load, and the client's infrastructure continues to work. This, probably, will not surprise anyone now, everyone has it. And what distinguishes GLAVIRT? This is our load balancing module. We have developed a module that evenly distributes all resources to all servers, which increases performance, servers heat up less and everything works faster as a result.
Also in GLAVIRT you can monitor the readings of all systems. We have easy-to-view graphs. You can monitor the load on RAM, processor, take readings from temperature sensors. All this is displayed in the interface, with graphs. You know, there is such a joke that people are divided into two types: those who do not make backups and those who are now making backups. Backups, of course, are important. And we, with our partners from Hyperprotect, have successfully implemented a module in our GLAVIRT for backing up. And all your data can be automatically or manually saved in backups to ensure reliability.
GLAVIRT supports the most popular operating systems, including, of course, domestic ones. And, of course, we are included in the register of domestic software.
Therefore, we can be sold to state-owned companies. We understand that it is difficult to just take and buy something without trying it. Therefore we provide our clients and partners with a free trial of our system.
There are two ways to do this. The first option: we will give you the distribution for a month, and you or the customer can install it on your resources, your servers, and test everything in your environment. The second option: we can provide you with access to our servers. We have our own demo laboratory. And we will just give you a login and password, you will be able to study the interface, see functionally what GLAVIRT can do in general. This will allow customers to make informed purchasing decisions. So, it will probably be easier for us to demonstrate all the advantages of the system.
We also have technical support, we have a special portal where customers can contact us with any questions if they can't do something or something breaks. We always respond promptly.
Plus, our specialists, if they understand that the issue can be resolved faster by phone, can call you, suggest something or ask some additional questions. In general, everything is resolved very quickly and positively.
Here, on the slide, I wanted to show several large domestic Russian companies that are already using GLAVIRT.
We also, of course, have certificates and licenses in GLAVIRT.
We constantly check the compatibility of our software with other services. And all this allows us to participate and win in competitions and tenders.
And for sophisticated connoisseurs, we have such an infrastructure scheme of the complex.
Then the floor was given to Denis Voblikov, Partner Manager in the Server Solutions and BDM Department for Negotiation Room Booking System.
In the second quarter, we have already received the register for the UTINET Prostor 6000 storage system. In the third quarter, we are waiting for the register for the UTINET Corenetic 4Gen and 5GEN generation server and for the UTINET Prostor 4000 storage system. And in the fourth quarter, we are waiting for the registry entry for UTINET Optickstack switches.
UTINET has a negotiation room booking system in its portfolio. It is called UTICLOCK. The software was developed by our company and is in the Ministry of Digital Development register.
The booking system consists of a tablet and software installed on it. The tablet screen displays information about occupancy, scheduled events. In general, this simplifies the booking process and helps employees plan their working time and use negotiation rooms. The system itself provides automatic availability control, provides information about occupancy. Booking can be made directly from your workplace or from the booking system itself. What it looks like.
The tablet with LED backlight is attached to the wall. It comes with fasteners and adhesive tape. That is, you can attach the tablet with bolts to a brick wall, or you can, if, for example, the surface is glass or ceramic and it is not possible to drill it, attach it to adhesive tape. It is quite durable. The tablet itself is installed at the entrance to the negotiation room, on it displays the current status "free" or "occupied". You can book a negotiation room from the tablet itself. They work from PoE or with a power supply. We leave to the Internet either through PoE or through Wi-Fi. Now about the models.
The UTICLOCK 1060 model is a basic model. It has a 10-inch screen. There is an LED backlight on top. Screen resolution 1280x800. The kit includes fasteners for glass, wood, concrete. But there is no power supply.
UTICLOCK 1070 is a flagship model. It also has a 10-inch screen, it has FullHD resolution, it has a brighter and clearer screen. It also works from PoE or from a power supply. It has a power supply in the kit. The indication itself is located on the sides and on the front panel. And also included is a universal fastener for glass, wood, concrete, drywall, anything. It has an NFC sensor.
UTICLOCK MINI has already been discontinued. But a small amount remains in stock. Three and a half inch tablet. It has LED indication. It is slightly less functional than 1060 and 1070. It is not possible to deeply book a negotiation room by days and weeks from it, for example. It only has pre-installed 15 minutes, 30 minutes and one hour. It also has an NFC chip.
It was replaced by UTICLOCK MINI 2. It is already in a square form factor, it is slightly larger. It has a 3.6 inch screen. These two tablets do not work from PoE. They have a power supply in the kit, they work from Wi-Fi.
We have UTICLOCK MAX.
The price is indicated below. 24 inch model. It displays the occupancy of all negotiation rooms at once on the screen. And you can also book negotiation rooms from it. That is, it is identified in the system as one of the booking systems. Well, it can perform independent functions. There are models up to 55 inches available. In principle, you can bring models in larger cases and with different colors to order. You can install this either somewhere at the reception, or if the company has a large number of negotiation rooms, or some kind of coworking. If a person wants to book a negotiation room from the screen on their own, here he can see which room is free, immediately find it and use it.
TV set-top box. It is used as an option.
It rather carries an exclusively informational function. It connects to almost any TV that has HDMI. It supports resolutions up to 4K. It displays negotiation rooms and their status. You cannot book from it, it is just an information panel.
A motion sensor can be used if necessary. It optimizes negotiation rooms, their functionality itself.
Example of practical application. Let's say you see that there is a free negotiation room and the event will start in 15 minutes. And you need to hold a short meeting. You come in, the motion sensor triggers and changes the indication on the panel, shows that the negotiation room is occupied. And this will exclude some not very funny story when someone can suddenly burst into the negotiation room. And along with this, it shows, if, for example, you have booked an event, but you have not come to it, it will show after a while that the room is free and you can use it. That is, it will cancel the event. NFC and RFID stickers are designed for integration with access control systems, and you can brand company logos, they are attached to smartphones, badges or passes, and provide quick access to the premises.
Now I will tell you about customization. We can customize the software at the request of the customer.
Here is an example. We have optimized the software for working with a black and white tablet, with an ink one at the request of the customer. Light customization is possible by itself, that is, the customer can independently change the logo, change the wallpaper. If you need something deep, then you can contact us, we are engaged in this. Here is the cost of the project 2,479,000 rubles and the implementation period - 23 working days. This was the price for the entire project of ten ink tablets.
Now I will go back a little. We have a fairly large demo fund. That is, we can provide equipment for demo testing to a partner or customer for a period of two weeks, with the possibility of extension if necessary, and with the possibility of redemption. We can conduct a webinar if necessary, if the customer has any questions, but there is no way to meet in person. And we have quite prompt service support. But, as statistics show, requests mainly go for integration, and the amount of defects is quite low. That is, three requests in three years is very little.
Now I will tell you about the registered third-generation servers.
We have a fairly wide range of third-generation server platforms with the possibility of flexible modernization to meet the needs of the customer. In our portfolio, one and two units. These are R415 and R510 models. A feature of the R415 model is 12 NVMe disks, 32 slots of RAM. The R510 model supports 10 disks, 8 of which are NVMe, also 32 slots of RAM, and there is support for two M2 disks.
Two-unit model R425 in three versions, for 8, 12 and 25 disks. All models support 32 slots of RAM and support additional baskets on the rear panel. Platforms for 8 and 12 disks support 8 and 12 NVMe disks. The platform for 25 disks supports 8 NVMe disks.
Model R520 for 12 and 24 disks. It also has 32 slots of RAM, additional baskets on the rear panel and the ability to increase the number of PCI Express to 10 slots and support for two NVMe disks. That is, variability is possible when writing the TOR.
In the roadmap for the summer, we have planned platforms of the 4th and 5th generation in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
They are based on the same type of chassis. Their advantage is more powerful processors, RAM and increased PCI Express bandwidth. As soon as they appear in our register, I think we will hold another meeting and talk about them in detail.
We have quite good service support with a large coverage of the territory of the Russian Federation. This is one of our strengths.
